Articles about the Brookline Cambodia Partnership appeared in recent editions of the Brookline Tab. Click on the links below to read them.
We would like to thank the Tab for the two wonderful articles and for taking an interest in our project.
We were very fortunate to host several visits by members of the Cambodian community to Brookline High School during the 2009-2010 school year:
A visit by Kem Sokkha, the president of the Cambodian Human Rights Party
A visit by DC-Cam teacher trainers Chamroeun and Rasy who taught lessons about the Khmer Rouge genocide and current trials of high level Khmer Rouge cadres
A visit by Brookline High School graduate and Khmer Rouge survivor Syphorn Phan who spoke at a Freshmen assembly and visited several classes to share his experiences as a survivor of the Khmer Rouge
A visit by Arn Chorn Pond and Cambodian Living Arts musicians Sinat and Srey Poev who performed traditional Cambodian music at an assembly for BHS students
